Repayments

Mobicred repayments are generally structured as a monthly debit order equal to 10% of your outstanding balance, subject to minimum repayment requirements and applicable fees.

Additional payments may be made at any time to reduce the outstanding balance sooner.

Interest, fees, and repayment obligations are determined by Mobicred and will be disclosed during the application and checkout process.

Requirements

To apply for Mobicred, you will generally need:

  • to be 18 years or older;

  • a valid South African ID number;

  • a valid cellphone number and email address;

  • a South African bank account in your name; and

  • a minimum qualifying monthly income, subject to Mobicred’s approval criteria.

Eligibility and approved credit limits may vary depending on affordability and credit assessments.

How to Use Mobicred

  1. Apply for a Mobicred account and receive approval

  2. Select Mobicred during checkout

  3. Log in to your Mobicred account

  4. Confirm the OTP sent to your cellphone

  5. Complete your payment securely
