How long does delivery take?

Delivery times may vary depending on stock availability, courier operations, public holidays, or remote delivery locations.
Do you deliver outside South Africa?
Online we currently deliver within South Africa only.
For export or international enquiries, please contact sales@oukitel.co.za for quotation.
Do you offer phone contracts?
For individual customers, online flexible payment options may be available through approved third-party providers such as Float, Payflex, and Mobicred.

Do you have a physical store or office?
Yes, we do, but visits are available strictly by appointment only.
Are you affiliated with Oukitel Store (Pty) Ltd?
No. Oukitel South Africa is not affiliated with Oukitel Store (Pty) Ltd.
Do you accept trade-ins?
No. We currently do not offer trade-in services.
Warranty, Repairs & Support
Are screens or charging ports covered under warranty?
Physical damage, cracked screens, bent charging ports, liquid damage, or damage caused by misuse are generally not covered under standard warranty terms.
We recommend using protective accessories such as screen protectors and protective cases where applicable.
How do I book a repair?
You can submit a repair or support request through our Repair Booking Form (check Repair Policy page). If you have any questions, contact us via support@oukitel.co.za
How long do repairs take?
Standard repairs are generally completed within 1-3 Business Days after the device has been received and assessed, excluding courier transit times and spare part delays.
More complex repairs or parts sourcing may require additional time.
Do repairs include a warranty?
Yes. Eligible repairs performed by Oukitel South Africa include a limited 3-month repair workmanship warranty covering labour and replacement parts supplied during the repair.
Devices & Connectivity
Do Oukitel devices support SD cards, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi?
Yes. Most Oukitel devices support:

Wi-Fi;

Bluetooth; and
-
expandable storage via microSD cards (model dependent).

Do Oukitel devices support wireless charging?
Most Oukitel devices do not support wireless charging unless specifically stated in the product specifications.
Can Oukitel smartwatches connect to non-Oukitel phones?
Yes. Oukitel smartwatches are generally compatible with most Android and iOS smartphones, depending on the model and application requirements.
Device Setup & Data
How do I back up my device?
You can back up your device using:

Google Drive; or

other compatible cloud backup services.
Backup settings are usually available under your device Settings menu.
How do I factory reset my device?
Please refer to the official video tutorial or support resources available on our website.
Before performing a factory reset:

back up important data;

remove linked accounts where applicable; and

ensure you know your Google account credentials.
Rugged Devices Explained
What does “rugged” mean?
Rugged devices are designed to operate in tougher environments than standard smartphones and tablets.
Depending on the model, rugged devices may offer increased resistance to:

dust;
-
water;
-
drops and impact;
-
vibration;
-
extreme temperatures; and
-
outdoor working conditions.
What do IP68 and IP69K mean?
IP68
-
Dust-tight protection
-
Water immersion resistance, typically up to 1.5m for 30 minutes
Suitable for:
-
rain;
-
mud;
-
accidental water exposure; and
-
outdoor use.
IP69K
-
Dust-tight protection
-
Resistance to high-pressure and high-temperature water jets
Suitable for:

harsh industrial environments;
-
heavy spray conditions; and
-
intensive cleaning environments.
Many rugged devices may carry both IP68 and IP69K ratings.
What is MIL-STD-810H?
MIL-STD-810H is a military-style durability testing standard used to evaluate device resistance under certain environmental conditions.
Testing may include:

drops and shock;
-
vibration;
-
temperature exposure;
-
humidity;
-
sand and dust; and
-
water exposure.
Important Care Guidelines
To help maintain your device’s durability:

always close protective port covers properly;
-
dry the device before charging;
-
rinse with fresh water after seawater exposure;
-
avoid solvents, oils, or chemical exposure; and
-
avoid exceeding rated drop heights or water exposure limits.
Please note that physical damage, broken screens, damaged ports, or compromised seals are generally not covered under standard warranty terms.
