  • Is the screen or charging port covered under warranty?

    No. These are considered user damage.

  • Can devices upgrade to Android 14?

    No. Updates are only within the current version.

  • Do devices support SD cards, Bluetooth, and Wi‑Fi?

    Yes.

  • Do devices support wireless charging?

    No.

  • How to back up data?

    Use Google Backup under Settings, or apps like OneDrive or Dropbox.

What “rugged” means

Built to keep working in tough conditions: dust, water, drops, vibration, heat and cold. Look for:

  • IP rating for dust and water
  • MIL‑STD‑810H tests for drops, shock, vibration, temperature

IP ratings (quick guide)

  • IP68
    • 6 = Dust‑tight
    • 8 = Immersion protection, typically up to 1.5 m for 30 min
    • Good for rain, mud, accidental submersion
  • IP69K
    • 6 = Dust‑tight
    • 9K = High‑pressure, high‑temperature water jets
    • Good for pressure‑washing and intense spray

Care and limits

  • Always close port covers and dry the device before charging
  • Avoid solvents, oils, or salt buildup; rinse with fresh water after seawater exposure
  • Do not exceed rated drop heights, immersion depth/time, or pressure‑wash proximity
  • Physical damage to screens, ports, or seals is not covered by standard warranties
