It’s quick. You have a maximum of 60-seconds to tell us your story on video.
It’s fun! Share a memory about a device you already love.
It’s for everyone. No pro gear needed. All you need is your Oukitel 😉
You might win a smartwatch. AND your clip could be featured by Oukitel SA.

How to enter:

Record a short video (max 60 seconds). Show your Oukitel device. Tell your best memory with it.
Save as .mp4, .mov or .mkv. Keep under 500 MB.
Upload using the official form: #OukitelStory Competition Form
Provide name, email and province and check the required consent box linking to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy below.
One entry per person. Ensure permission for any other people in the video. No minors unless you have a signed guardian release.

Quick tips for a great clip

Keep sound clear. Take your time, speak slowly.
Show the device to camera for 5-8 seconds.
Start with your name and device model.
Keep your story specific. The small details make it real.
Natural light helps.
Avoid noisy backgrounds.

What happens after you submit

We check entries for eligibility and content rules.
Winner will be announced on 7th of November 2025.
Winner notified by email within 7 days.
We may contact you to request a signed release should your video includes third parties.

FAQs

Do I need to post on social?

No. Upload via the Google form. You may also post publicly and paste the post URL in the form.

Can I use music?

Only music you have the rights to use. Unlicensed music may disqualify your entry.

What if I don’t have a Google account?

Share you video via email to marketing@oukitel.co.za. We will verify consent manually through the emailing thread.

Can I withdraw my entry?

Contact marketing@oukitel.co.za. License granted on submission is perpetual for prior uses. We will consider reasonable takedown requests for future uses.

Terms & Conditions

“#OukitelStory” Competition Terms & Conditions

Promoter: Tsukuru (Pty) Ltd trading as Oukitel South Africa (“Promoter”). Contact: marketing@oukitel.co.za.
Agreement: By entering you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions. The competition is governed by these T&Cs.
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older. Employees of the Promoter, their families and agencies directly involved in the competition are not eligible. Proof of age and identity may be required.
Entry Period: Entries open 22 October 2025 and close 31 October 2025. Entries outside this period are void. All times are SAST.
How to Enter: Enter by uploading a video through the official Google Form link. The form collects name, contact details and the video. One entry per person unless stated otherwise.
Entry Requirements: Videos must be original, created by the entrant, and must not infringe third-party rights. Videos must not contain unlawful, hateful, pornographic, violent or otherwise objectionable material. If any other person appears you must have their permission. Do not include minors unless you have a signed parent/guardian release.
Winner Selection: Winner(s) will be selected by random draw from valid entries received during the Entry Period. The Promoter will record the list of eligible entries and the random seed or selection evidence. Draw date: on or about the 7th of November 2025. The Promoter’s decision is final.
Prize: one Oukitel Smartwatch. Prize is subject to availability. No cash alternative. The Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Notification and Claiming Prize: Winners will be notified via the contact details provided within 7 days of the draw.
Rights Granted by Entrant (License): By submitting an entry via the Google Form you grant the Promoter, its affiliates, agents and licensees a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, modify, publish, translate, distribute, broadcast, display and otherwise exploit the submitted video and any excerpts or derivative works in any media now known or developed in the future for any purpose including marketing, advertising and commercial use without further notice, consent or payment to the entrant. This license includes the right to crop, shorten, combine with other materials and create derivative works.
Warranties and Indemnity: You warrant that you are the creator and owner of the content or have secured all necessary rights and releases. You warrant the content does not infringe third-party rights. You indemnify and hold harmless the Promoter against any claim, loss or liability arising from your breach of these warranties.
Moral Rights: To the extent permitted by applicable law you waive any moral rights you may have in the submitted content.
Removal and Disqualification: The Promoter may remove or disqualify any entry it reasonably believes breaches these T&Cs or may bring the Promoter into disrepute. Entries containing unlicensed copyrighted material, including music, may be disqualified.
Privacy: Personal data collected will be used to administer the competition, notify winners and for marketing purposes as permitted in the Privacy Policy below. By entering you consent to this use.
Limitation of Liability: Except where prohibited by law the Promoter’s liability for any loss or damage is limited to the value of the prize. The Promoter is not liable for lost, delayed, corrupted or misdirected entries.
Force Majeure: The Promoter may cancel, terminate or modify the competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control prevent it from running the competition as planned.
Governing Law: These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to South African courts.
General: The Promoter’s decisions are final. These T&Cs constitute the entire agreement. For questions contact: marketing@oukitel.co.za.
Recordkeeping: Keep the timestamped form response and uploaded file as proof of consent.

Privacy Policy

This privacy notice explains how Oukitel South Africa collects and uses personal data for the #OukitelStory competition.

Data controller: Tsukuru (Pty) Ltd trading as Oukitel South Africa. Contact: marketing@oukitel.co.za.

Data collected:

Name, email address, mobile number, province.
Uploaded video file, optional public post URL and social handle.
Submission metadata: timestamp, IP address, device info.

How we use your data:

To administer the competition and contact winners.
To verify entries and permissions.
To publish winner info and use submitted videos in marketing.
To prevent fraud and enforce the T&Cs.

Legal basis: Consent is obtained when you submit the form and check the required consent box. The Promoter may also rely on legitimate interests where permitted.

Sharing and processors:

We may share data with:

Service providers hosting the form and storing files (Google).
Delivery partners for prize fulfilment.
Marketing platforms when publishing content.

All processors are contracted to protect your data and process it only as instructed.

Retention: We keep entry data and videos as necessary to run the competition and for marketing use under the license. Personal data used only for prize administration may be deleted after 24 months unless law requires longer retention.

Your rights: Subject to local law you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. Contact marketing@oukitel.co.za to exercise rights. Note: deletion of personal data will not retroactively remove the license granted for previously published uses.

Security: We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No internet transfer is 100% secure.
